Protect P1 Black Fibre Reinforced Roof Coating — 5kg
Protect P1 provides a high-build black coating for general roof maintenance and repairs. The solvent-based acrylic formula contains reinforcing fibres that help bridge small gaps and cracks. Once applied as a continuous coating, it provides a waterproof barrier and is water resistant immediately after application.

Where can it be used?
The label lists flat and pitched roofs, weathered asphalt, bituminous surfaces, gutters, concrete, brickwork, fibreglass, felt, and galvanised or ferrous metal. Confirm that the coating is appropriate for the specific surface and its condition before application.
Preparing and applying the coating
Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from loose debris, moss, lichen, dirt, grease and standing water. Stir Protect P1 thoroughly before use and during application. Apply generously with a brush, roller or squeegee, working evenly to form a continuous coating. The label states that most roofing substrates do not require a primer.
Actual coverage depends on the surface’s condition and porosity. Read the full product label before use. Protect P1 is flammable, so keep it away from ignition sources, ensure good ventilation and wear suitable protective gloves, eyewear and clothing. Do not use near fishponds or empty into drains.
