Protect P1 Black Fibre Reinforced Roof Coating — 20kg Pack
For larger roof maintenance and repair areas, this pack supplies four 5kg tins of Protect P1 Black Roof Coating. The solvent-based acrylic formula has a high-build, fibre reinforced finish. Its fibres interlace to help bridge small gaps and cracks, while the applied coating creates a continuous waterproof barrier. It is water resistant immediately after application.

Where can it be used?
The product label lists flat and pitched roofs, weathered asphalt, bituminous surfaces, gutters, concrete, brickwork, fibreglass, felt, and galvanised or ferrous metal. Assess the surface and confirm suitability for the particular job before applying.
Preparation and application
Start with a clean, dry surface free from loose debris, moss, lichen, dirt, grease and standing water. Stir thoroughly before and during use until the coating has an even consistency. Apply generously using a brush, roller or squeegee, working evenly to form a continuous coating. The label states that most roofing substrates do not require a primer.
Coverage will vary with the condition and porosity of the surface. Protect P1 is flammable: keep it away from ignition sources, ensure good ventilation and wear suitable protective gloves, eyewear and clothing. Do not use near fishponds or empty into drains. Follow the full instructions on the tin.
