Protect P1 Black Fibre Reinforced Roof Coating — 10kg Double Pack
Cover a larger roof maintenance or repair area with 2 × 5kg tins of Protect P1 Black Roof Coating. This solvent-based acrylic formula has a high-build, fibre reinforced finish. Its fibres interlace to help bridge small gaps and cracks, while the applied coating provides a continuous waterproof barrier. It is water resistant immediately after application.

Where can Protect P1 be used?
The label lists flat and pitched roofs, weathered asphalt, bituminous surfaces, gutters, concrete, brickwork, fibreglass, felt, and galvanised or ferrous metal. Assess the surface and confirm suitability for the particular job before application.
Preparation and application
Start with a clean, dry surface free from loose debris, moss, lichen, dirt, grease and standing water. Stir thoroughly before and during use to maintain an even consistency. Apply generously using a brush, roller or squeegee at the recommended rate, working evenly to achieve a continuous coating. The label states that most roofing substrates do not require a primer.
Actual coverage depends on the condition and porosity of the surface. Protect P1 is flammable: keep it away from ignition sources, ensure good ventilation and wear suitable protective gloves, eyewear and clothing. Do not use near fishponds or allow the coating to enter drains. Follow the full instructions on the tin.
