A sand-coloured, neutral-cure silicone sealant for pointing lead flashing into brickwork and masonry. Flashpoint forms a flexible, waterproof joint that accommodates the movement of lead as temperatures change. Supplied in a 310ml cartridge; approximately 5 linear metres of coverage in a 6 × 12mm joint.

Product description

Flexible pointing for lead flashing

ALM Premium Flashpoint is designed for the joint where lead flashing meets brickwork or masonry. It offers a flexible alternative to mortar pointing, which can crack as lead and masonry expand and contract at different rates. Its neutral-cure, silicone-based formula adheres to lead and masonry and cures to a waterproof seal. The sand colour offers a discreet finish against suitable masonry.

Application: Remove old mortar and make sure the lead and masonry faces are completely dry and free of dust. Secure the lead mechanically in the chase, fill the joint to the required depth, then smooth the sealant before it skins. Follow the manufacturer’s joint preparation instructions for the specific flashing detail.

Free Delivery

We offer free next day (working day) delivery for all eligible orders over £50. For eligibility, orders must be placed before 14:00 from Monday to Friday. If you order on a Saturday, the order will be shipped on Monday for next day delivery.
