The Everbuild Everflex 500 Bath & Sanitary Silicone is a premium-quality, high-performance sanitary silicone sealant designed for areas exposed to high humidity, condensation, and frequent water contact. Formulated with powerful anti-fungal properties, it actively resists mould growth, making it ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and hygienic environments.
This permanently flexible, waterproof silicone sealant provides a strong, long-lasting seal while maintaining a clean, professional finish. Suitable for both sealing and light adhesive applications, it bonds effectively to a wide range of common building materials.

Surface Preparation
For best adhesion and long-lasting performance:
- Remove all old sealant, dust, grease, oil, and contaminants
- Clean non-porous surfaces (glass, aluminium, metal) with a solvent cleaner
- Prime porous surfaces where necessary
Proper preparation ensures maximum bonding strength and mould resistance.
How to Apply Everflex 500 Silicone
- Cut the cartridge tip carefully without damaging the thread
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, slightly larger than the joint
- Insert into a standard sealant gun
- Apply a smooth, continuous bead along the joint
- Tool within 10 minutes using a sealant tool or spatula with a soap solution
Masking tape can be used for cleaner, more precise application.
Limitations & Important Notes
- Not suitable for use with bitumen or asphalt
- Porous surfaces (e.g. new concrete or stone) may require priming
- Avoid surfaces that bleed oils, solvents, or plasticisers
- Not suitable for double glazing or PVCu perimeter pointing
- Do not apply to soft metals such as lead or brass
- This silicone is not paintable
