Uses – Multi-Purpose Silicone Sealant for Bathrooms, Kitchens & Construction
This general purpose silicone sealant is a versatile, high-performance solution suitable for a wide range of sealing and bonding applications across both domestic and trade environments. Designed for durability and flexibility, it provides a waterproof, mould-resistant seal in high-moisture areas.
Ideal for use on:
- Bathrooms: sealing around baths, showers, basins, and sanitary ware
- Kitchens: sealing worktops, laminates, and splashback areas
- Exterior applications: aluminium gutters and general weatherproof sealing
- Adhesive use: fixing PVCu trims, cladding panels, and lightweight materials
Its strong adhesion and flexibility make it perfect for long-lasting sealing in wet and humid environments.
Surface Preparation for Maximum Adhesion
To ensure the best results and long-term performance:
- Remove all dust, grease, oil, old sealant, and loose material
- Ensure surfaces are clean and completely dry before application
For larger joints or deep gaps, use a backing rod or expanding foam to reduce sealant usage and improve joint performance.
How to Apply Silicone Sealant
- Cut the cartridge tip carefully without damaging the thread
- Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, slightly larger than the joint width
- Insert into a standard sealant gun
- Apply a smooth, continuous bead along the joint
- Tool the sealant within 15 minutes using a spatula or applicator with a soapy solution
Avoid using fingers with plain water, as this can introduce bacteria and increase the risk of mould growth.
Limitations & Important Notes
- Not suitable for aquarium manufacture
- Do not use with bitumen or asphalt surfaces
- Highly porous surfaces (e.g. concrete or stone) may require priming
- Avoid use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers
- Not suitable for double glazing installation or PVCu perimeter pointing
- Do not apply to soft metals such as lead or brass
- This silicone is not paintable
Returns Policy

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
