How to Use
Ensure the area being repaired is suitably prepared and free from loose or contaminated material.
Mix approximately a golf-ball-sized amount of filler with a corresponding strip of hardener according to the manufacturer's instructions. Mix thoroughly until a uniform paste is achieved.
Press the mixed filler firmly into the damaged area, leaving it slightly proud of the surrounding surface to allow for sanding.
The mixed filler has a maximum open time of approximately 10 minutes, so only prepare enough material for immediate use.
Allow approximately 30 minutes for the filler to set before sanding and finishing as required.
Once cured, the repair can be sanded, drilled, nailed, planed, carved, stained, painted or varnished.
Repairing Timber Damaged by Wet Rot
For timber affected by wet rot, Everbuild recommends using Everbuild Wet Rot Wood Hardener first to strengthen and reinforce the remaining timber.
Once the hardener has dried, Everbuild 2 Part High Performance Wood Filler can then be used to rebuild and repair the damaged area.
Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and safety information before use.
