Cromar Aluminium Paint 5L is a solvent-based, solar reflective coating for protecting suitable roofing surfaces against sun and weather exposure. Its bright aluminium finish reflects heat and UV exposure, making it useful for maintaining bituminous roofs.
It is also suitable for exposed steel and corrugated iron roofing. Apply as part of a maintenance or refurbishment project where a reflective protective finish is required.
For best results, stir thoroughly and apply two coats, allowing the first to dry completely before recoating.

Application advice
Apply to clean, dry surfaces. Allow bitumen coatings to weather for at least 10 days, preferably a few weeks, before painting. Stir for several minutes and avoid thick coats or excessive brushing. Protect from rain while drying.
Do not coat rooflights, windows, glass or translucent sheets.
