Bond It Multi-Mate Translucent is a general purpose silicone sealant for everyday sealing and waterproofing. The translucent finish provides a subtle joint where an opaque coloured seal is less suitable.
Its high modulus, acetoxy cure formula contains a fungicide to help resist mould in humid areas. Suitable applications include kitchen worktops, bathrooms, showers and utility rooms.
Multi-Mate adheres to glass, glazed surfaces, ceramic tiles, aluminium, many plastics and most paints. It remains flexible after curing and can be used indoors or outdoors.
Application advice
Apply to clean, dry surfaces using a standard sealant gun. Prime cement, concrete and bare metals first; timber should be primed and painted. Clean bathroom joints regularly to remove residues that encourage mould.
Unsuitable for mirror fixing or natural marble. The translucent colour may yellow with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
