Brown building mastic for exterior maintenance
For traditional exterior pointing and sealing, Bond It Build-Mate offers a gun-applied mastic that adheres to common building materials. It is designed for jobs such as bedding wooden or metal door and window frames, maintaining suitable low-rise joints and flashings, and pointing around precast building materials.
Build-Mate forms a self-repairing skin without hardening throughout, helping the material beneath retain its flexibility. The formula is sag-resistant and can be overpainted once cured with most conventional oil-based paints. Always check paint compatibility first.
Supplied in a brown EU3 cartridge for use with a standard sealant gun. Prepare a clean, dry, sound surface and ensure the mastic makes contact with both sides of the joint. Do not use on uPVC, bitumen or asphalt, or where joint movement exceeds ±5%.
