A tidy seal for bathroom and kitchen finishing
Bond It Bath-Mate is a white, water-based sealant designed for joints around ceramic baths, sinks and worktops. It adheres to materials including ceramic tiles, porcelain and plastic, forming a flexible, watertight seal. Its anti-fungal compound helps retard mould growth in areas where a clean finish matters.
Unlike silicone, Bath-Mate can be painted, stained or varnished to suit the surrounding finish. It can also be used to repair damaged or cracked grout. The water-based formula makes excess uncured product easy to clean up with water.

Application: Apply to surfaces that are clean, dry, sound and free of dust, oil and other contaminants. Use a standard sealant gun and smooth the bead before it skins.
Choosing the right sealant: Bath-Mate is a water-based sealant, not silicone. Bond It advises against using it on plastic or acrylic baths, joints continuously immersed in water, or joints with movement greater than 7.5%.
